Too Much Texas - Juvenilia

£10.00

Too Much Texas were the band that Tom Hingley was in before he left in 1989 to join Inspiral Carpets. Laurence Ash the drummer went on to be in a band called the Dream Academy. The band only released one single that got recorded on the John Peel sessions. The video got played on Music Box On ITV. The record contains a mixture of musical styles including 80's theatrical pop (influenced by Teardrop explodes, Echo and the Bunneymen & The Smiths) and more dispercal angst ridden agit pop of The Fall & Stump) These are early recordings made by people who went on to do bigger, better and different things.
